i have a jpg i imported of a country sunset with a barn silhouette. i want to remove the barn, which i have done so far. But I wanted to find a way to extrapolate/clone the sunset from a different section of the photo and use that to fill in the void where i set the clip that used to be the barn. how do i do that?
okay, thanks. what would you think it would be called? i'm looking at Photopea online, but i'm guessing extrapolate is not the keyword i want. is there a universal term for what i want to do?

Inkscape doesn't have the tools for this.
what would you think would be the closest i could come?
It is common to use a photo editing app like Gimp to remove & patch, before importing into Inkscape. There are online tools as well.

Google: photo object removal
Gets me good results.
Thanks so much for your time.
In PixelmatorPro it´s "Repair", in AffinityPhoto it´s the "Inpainting Brush":
