i am using debian12 lxqt . Export png with transparent not working.The real problem started when i went to document properties from file menu.Before that everything was fine.
Yes. I have done that . I don't know why it collapsed, because it worked well before the problem . As of now i am using the old appimage version "Inkscape-e86c870-x86_64.AppImage" which works fine with transparent png. Got a temporary solution.
It might be that the background got set to white or opaque in Document Properties. Try setting the background to "No color" or full transparency and export again.
Now new version working now for exporting png image with transparent .
I don't know how it worked but i can tell , What i have done just before getting the perfect output .
In working old version , i am not able to create generic canvas template . It popped up a window with some python errors.
In debian, synaptic package manager (gui) searched python 3.11 and made reinstallation. next searched python 3 and made reinstallation.like these some other python packages can't remember right now , because i done without hope , so not noted the packages .
Still old version popped up errors and not created template. I can import already created svg images in old version and export it in transparent png image but not able to create templates.
Next i questioned myself why we should not try new version again?
Downloaded new inkscape version . exported png with transparent options,and it worked!! .
