So, I was mostly using Krita to add text to images, mostly to translate stuff, but I was trying to translate a comic, and the size of the font to fit on it was too small on Krita to be useful to add text, since editing was a pain. People reccomended Inkscape for text.

Now, I got this doubt, I managed to learn how to proper copy and paste stuff with the right formatation, and to move the lines, but now, I cant colour the original text under the new one, when I do it, the text I add is also colored. This was pretty simple on Krita, I just needed to click on the drawing layer instead of the text, but I got no idea how I do in Inkscape.

I am using an image I downloaded prior, using the Text setting to add the english text over the original in portuguese.

Also, any way to "mass load" pics? When using Krita I normally open like 10 pages at once to speed up the process, but it seem I cant do it on Inkscape

I'm using Inkscape 1.4, downloaded from the web,
