hi i'm new to inkscape and i'm having trouble creating a circle, it always comes with a whole in the middle. and i can't toggle the  Make the shape a whole ellipse it is locked. what can i do.

Check:

• The "Elipse tool" must be the active tool
• Check that the circle are not within a group (it can exist groups woth only one single objects) (Ctrl+Shift+G to ungroup)
  • Or you can select group --> Ctrl+Enter to enter group, then Shift+Back to go out of group)
• Check stroke options - a special kind of dotted line may look like a non-closed circle.

damn i just lost like 3 hours going at it, in the end i figured out in the stroke panel that i had messed up the widht of the stroke. thank you for your help.
