Hello, brand new to Inkscape. I'm trying to align an object to the center of the page and the 'Page' option is not among the other options in the 'Relative to:' section of the Align and Distribute dialogue. I've searching online and reviewed Inkscape tutorial and can't find the solution. I created a 8.5'' x 11" document, put it in landscape mode, created a rectangle and then tried to center it in the page.
Yes, that's where the dialog is, except mine only contains First Selected, Last Selected, Middle of Selection, Min Value, Max Value. There is no Page, Biggest Object, Smallest Object

Ok, I see what I did wrong. I had 'Edit paths by nodes' tool selected when I should have had 'Select and transform objects' selected. I feel dumb🤪
