at the moment i am diving into inkscape-work: i need to get started.
i need to work with gradients.:
question: can i make use of the gradient - that is offered here: File:Gradients.svg https://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php?title=File:Gradients.svg https://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/images/5/57/Gradients.svg
This is a special Inkscape fileIt includes hundreds of gradients. They can be accessed and usedunder gradient dialog of Fill and Stroke menu. You can get the gradients from:http://nevit.deviantart.com/art/900gradients-for-GIMP-Inkscape-103771340
additional: can i take one of these layers - as a base - and add another svg - and build with such a method a so called "assembled" image!?
layer 1 (with a gradient)
layer 2 (with some other content)
the question is - how to create a assembled image - that consists out of parts ( one, two, three and so forth)..
it is quite common to compose images with multiple layers. Layers higher in the Layers & Objects dialog are closer in the foreground and may obscure lower layers.
