2 segments that I see, one more traditional and the other more modern, silk screen and laser/router cut , cnc is a crescent and silkscreen printing as much as it seems something not modern, I realize that it is something simple and cheap to produce, so these are areas that I see a lot of demand, not only in large industrial countries, but I see that the industry is becoming more domestic or smaller in a certain way (as happened in music with homestudios).
The technical part of inkscape has improved drastically, in the last 4 years it has helped me a lot to produce some technical projects, and today I do many projects for cutting, laser/router, with the precision of a CAD program.
For this reason I always hit the key that when inkscape has a more simplified halftone tool, it will be a big step, I see that the new tilling tool can be used, I really liked it, if it has some form of trace, or recognition or for , this tool is incredible, I've even used it to use acrylic sheet, very good.
The tendency is always to seek classes from the program if there is demand, and artists will always have them, whether in pencil and paper or open source or paid programs, which are more practical.
I wonder if the declining numbers in screen printing have to do with the problem of film production. We have been making stamps for almost 3 decades and since one global player in particular has been trying to push his laser cutters into the market, it is becoming more and more difficult for us to get film material because he has stopped production for it since the beginning of 2022. Actually it is almost impossible. I wonder how then the letterpress printers who use photopolymer plates for printing and embossing can continue to work, because they also need these films. Apart from that, the industry has made considerable progress in direct printing on fabric - which may also have an impact on the screen printing market.

serigrafia = silkscreen

the sublimation that did it, cheaper service and product, but the DTF is there, DTF is like a silkscreen quality sublimation.
