Hi I am new to inkscape, I have watched several tutorials which show design and saving a completed project as gcode. When I try to do it I do not have the gcode option in the save as list. Helpmwhatcam I doing wrong.. or missing
If you are just using 2D plain SVG with depth then http://jscut.org/ is a very good option. I can be downloaded as a standalone page which does not require an internet connection. I use it with my simple 3040 cnc machine.

Do you see :
Extension > GcodeTool > many item here ?
You need to download the Gcode Extension
