im having issues importing my svg's into design space that I make in inkscape. DS informs me that text files are not supported..any ideas?
sounds you need to convert text objects into paths - to do so select a text object and go Path->Union. Let´s see if this helps already.
Correct, svg text is not supported by design space.
Path>Object to Path will convert the text to a group of paths.
Path>Object to Path
Once converted, the text cannot be edited as text would be ( as it is now a series of paths )
For that reason, I would save a new copy before the conversion.
U can online convert ur file to another formatOr open your svg in CorelDraw and swith text to curves.
in Inkscape it´s just select text object and go Path->Union - done.
