I am using a MacBook running macOS 10.15.7 (Catalina) and Inkscape for Mac 1.1 (c4e8f9e, 2021-05-24).
I selected the paths I wanted for "Fill between paths" and then selected the command from the Path menu. What happened is in the attached image (sorry, I can't seem to find how to embed it).
The fill is over 250 pixels away in each direction, and many times larger than the area it's supposed to fill (circled in red). I can't move it; I can't resize it. I tried putting in lines to close the subpaths before I filled; I tried reordering the paths in the layer and in the LPE. The effect was slightly different in most cases, but the fill was still in the same place and was the same size.

Does anyone recognize what I'm doing wrong?
Thank you.
Please share an Inkscape SVG file that has the issue.
I'm sorry. I'm preparing it for sale, so I forgot that I could strip it down for this purpose.
Something weird is going on, though. It's failed to work twice. Give me a bit to get the upload working.
Maybe this attempt will work. . . .
Well, it's not displaying, but if you download it, it opens. (At least on my computer.)
The objects are in a group labeled "Shape". Ungroup and regroup seems to resolve the issue.
That's bizarre.
But it did work. One can't knock what works. (In computers, anyway.)
Thanks!
