Hi,I tried to use the font Manrope (https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Manrope)
But the result is super glitchy... the characters intersect themselfs and create overlapping areas.Is there any way to prevent this? Is this an Inkscape bug or is this a font bug?
Manrope is a variable font. The open areas can be filled by switching the fill-rule in the Fill/stroke dialog:

There are also static versions of the font at Google, if the variable font causes other issues for you.
