Using Inkscape with Cutters/Plotters Plotter extension for Mac OS X 10.11

    Hello!

    I'm trying to build an XY plotter using an Arduino and the GRBL firmware. 

    The tutorials online suggest using the "MI GRBL" extension for Inkscape 0.92. 

    Unfortunately I have OS X 10.11, which isn't compatible with Inkscape 0.92.  

    When I try the MI GRBL extension with the latest version of Inkscape, I get problems.

     

    Might anyone have any ideas how to get around this problem? Anyone been down this path?
