I am new with AI and Inkscape and have not been able to figure it out.

I have this AI file which is a tshirt mockup. All files, JPG, EPS, etc. show perfectly but when I open the AI file, the gradients' transitions show as blocks of different shades and not the typical gradual transitions.

Anyone who could help me figure this out?

What is ,, AI ''? And why is it closely? connected to Inkscape?

Illustrator files and PDF files may contain gradient meshes. These may get "tiled" during import, so maybe they are tiles.

Feel free to share the illustrator file.
