Here's the work I've been the most proud of myself for so far. I made it using only the cube tool, no distortions or other tools. Way I made it was pretty simple: I placed random cubes on a blank canvas at first as a starting point. After this, I went wild with adding cubes that extended out from those cubes, or generally sat ontop of them in some way. The result was, this interesting peice. Another place I shared it with described it looking,"Like something a 90's sci-fi movie would use to represent the net." Very happy with it, was also one of my first times using the cube tool actually, I just found the tool so fun to use that, I just kept going until I got to this.
New here, been playing with the tools in the program. Pretty much what I've done here, and in some other works I've made aside from this one, is use the shape tools within the program to place stuff down in places I like, set some gradients I might like for color.... And then I bring up the tweak tool and cause chaos with distortions and random colors, trying to morph the shape into something I think looks good, even using the color shuffler sometimes to enhance the chaos. It's a pretty fun process, and creates some, very odd results as you can tell. Infact, I'll say the background used to be a few cubes made with the cube tool, and the wavy shape in front of it? That's was a spiral before I distorted it. Fun little thing.
