I hope life is treating you well (and, perhaps, vice versa). I have just finished the first of a two-part tutorial on using and stylizing pencil and pen strokes. I also show you how to create a filter that simulates a charcoal pencil.
There is so much you can do with pen and pencil techniques that I find myself overwhelmed with what to do. I figure that a good compromise is to write down what I've learned, but not make a chapter so long that it puts the Encyclopedia Britannica to shame.
For everybody new to what I'm doing here, I am learning drawing and painting techniques that Inkscape has to offer. By writing these tutorials, I am able to cement new material more solidly in memory. Doubtless, like many of you in the Inkscape community, once you get into the intense focus of creative thinking, you need immediate access to any and all the techniques you need to use at that moment.
I hope that these tutorials help you in the process.
Hello everybody!
The new chapter is at:

Best wishes to all,
Roy
