Beginners' Questions Why can't you put text around the clone of a path?

    So I created a path. Then cloned it.

    For some reason, I thought I would be able to put the text on the cloned path. But nothing happens when I try it. I can only put around the original.

    Can someone let me know why this is?

    You can unlink the clones. Now you can put a text on them.
