Hello,

working with Inkscape for a very basic application: importing VGS file, adapting some text fields, adding logo, exporting again & save as PDF or PNG.  

 Suddenly, changing the first text line does not seem to work any longer:

• the last letter at the end of the first line cannot be highlighted, (see capture1)
• this last letter seem to belong to the second line (?) (see capture2).

hope someone can help me out? thank you

With imported text elements, it can be useful to use "remove manual kerns"... but be advised, the text may move in unexpected directions.

thanks, helps a bit.  And any idea how to avoid carriage return ending up on the same line in that text box? I've got the impression some settings have changed, but perhaps I receive the files in a diffrent set up than before.
