I would like to use something like the shrink selection in Gimp to get the same result like attached file, but in vector.
With Gimp I select my object, go to shrink selection, then fill this new reduced selection and move it.
But with Inkscape I don't know how to reduce a selection. I can't copy and reduce the object because it don't feat in the first shape (You have a smaller version, and not an "inside" version).
It's the same with border stuffs, it close my inside border.
Hello;
I'm beginner in vectorial creation.
I miss some concept I guess.
Thank you for your help.
