    Hi all,

I can't seem to get the set clip or set mask features to work. Neither created objects or imported images get cropped using the object > clip > set path. I've made sure that the shape I want to crop the image to is above the object or image, resetting preferences, re-installing but nothing seems to work. Would appreciate any help!

Steps are: import raster image, draw shape above (stroke, no fill) or with rectangle tool, select image+shape->Clip->Set.

Are these your exact steps as well?

Oh man, I feelย silly now --- I never highlighted both the image + shape, it all makes sense now. Thank you so much!

    You're welcome.

I do all that but the stroke paint disappears. I am trying to maintain the frame (stroke) around the clipped image, and I did it once, but can't figure out how I did it.

A duplicate object is needed, the same shape as the clipping object.
