I use inkscape to create screen mockups, in addition to learning about SVG basics.
I just upgraded to 1.1.1 and what I am observing is a strange behavior. If I take a screen shot using "Win + shift + S" and paste "Ctrl + V" that screen cap to my document, what is pasted is not the same size as the size that I clipped. This worked in prior version 0.9.2 when the current document was at 100% zoom, but now it does not work even when its at 100%.
Whys is the image scaled when pasted or how can I control that?
I notice that the screen is being shared while recording. Is the display running at native resolution, and/or is the remote viewer changing the display resolution in some way?
All displays are running in native resolution, with no scaling, everything 1:1.
Screen I was recording on is the 1080p, as it is the smallest one I have which I could demonstrate the issue on. I was using a browser plugin to record the screen, which uses chrome's screen sharing subsystem (that's why you see the notification on sharing), otherwise it is not remoted in or anything like that.
This may be a related issue. I rely heavily on copying and pasting nodes joined by line segments. I started Inkscape today and when pasting a node/segment set, it scales the node/segment set down by a random magnitude (0.1-0.4) upon paste.

Attached is a screen cap of what I am seeing:

The behavior is consistent on all monitors.

When you try it does it come spot on?
Works here. Is your default import resolution for imported images set to 96 dpi in preferences?
Yes that's correct 96 dpi. Also @Aero doe it work fine in every zoom level in your case? or only when viewing your document in 100%
No, only for 100% zoom like you said earlier.
Did you reset preferences after upgrading or are you still using your old settings?
I did a full uninstall reinstall, and when the application did not work as intended, I downgraded. I will reset and try again.
I'll report back how it goes.

Any recommendations?
