I just updated to Inkscape v1.2 on Arch Linux. In my previous version 1.1, I had an option to select margin size when I was working with Document Properties (Ctrl+Shift+D) as shown in screenshot named v1.1.png.
In v1.2, I can't seem to find a place to specify margin in Document Properties! (screenshot attached named v1.2.png) Any clue?
Sorry Tyler Durden, I'm using Inkscape 1.2 for linux and I can't really see that control for margins as shown in the video of the wiki page. How can I enable it? There is a tutorial that explains that?
Thanks Tyler -- in the released version of 1.3, at least on my (linux) machine, the margin control is still not there. I'm not sure if I'm missing it, but this is functionality that I, too, miss.
You can use the Page tool:ย go Margins and open Page Bleed - apply any number you like and "Resize to Content" at the Document properties will be aware of the page Bleed. Not sure if Tyler has another way in mind.

I expect they will be back:
It was absolutely helpful, hope it will be back soon!ย
Margins are now part of the Pages tool:ย https://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/Release_notes/1.3#Page_Tool
Ohh I see. Thanks!

Margins are back in the 1.3 beta, sorry for the confusion. The beta is quite stable and has some excellent new features.
