Hi, my first post on this forum. Hope someone can help with this issue. (I have searched the forums and found nothing)
Since upgrading to INKSCAPE 1.1 , the PRINT menu no longer allows me to select paper quality and printing quality. I use a MacBook Pro 2017 under Mac OS X 10.15.7 (Catalina) and a EPSON WF-7620 inkjet printer, with WiFi connexion. As I use INKSCAPE to produce waterslides for guitar effect pedals, I need to select specific settings for the decal paper ("high quality print" and " glossy photo paper")
The needed options are grey and can no longer be opened like they used to do in previous versions. I am unable to tell what exactly was the last version which worked fine. I guess it was fine until upgrading to version 1.1. I just upgraded today again to Inkscape 1.2.1 (9c6d41e4, 2022-07-14), hoping to see the "bug" fixed, but nope....
I know that I can save in PDF and then use all the prin ting options that I am familiar with, but I fear to forget to save in the .svg format, and lose my work !

Saving a copy as PDF is the preferred & recommended method for bulletproof printing. Just ensure you have the original svg saved.
I'd upload a copy of the svg to the cloud before saving a copy as PDF, if the document was mission-critical.
