Hello! I'm making decals for a model rocket. I have a logo with the US flag and some text that I would like to have a slight downward bend so that it wraps around a nose cone. I am using the pattern along path effect. It doesn't behave as I expect it to. I've watched multiple tutorials. The file is attached. The curve is above the logo I want stretched. Would someone please help me?

With some of the things I've tried, the text gets deformed, or I get weird shapes.

I found some more information. I think everything needs to be in the same path, but a path can only have a single color. I got the text curved. Now, trying to figure out the flag.

Some Path effects work with groups.

You could try envelope deformation, which works with groups.

Thank you! I used pattern along path for the text and perspective/envelope for the flat. I had to do different parts of the flag separately. It's not perfect, but looks fine at the scale.

Inkscape is powerful and has a high learning curve. I have total respect for it.

Thank you for the help, everyone. I got it to work. The text is curved with pattern along path. I was able to curve the flag with perspective/envelope.
