i am getting a path 919 error when i try to save an SVG file as a PES file for embroidery machines that says "path919: error: Fill: Shape is not valid. This can happen if the border crosses over itself." it will not complete the save andi cannot figure out what it erroring over.
It might be that a path with the ID "path919" has a loop. Inkscape has a Find feature (Ctrl+F) that can be used to select that path, so it can be evaluated and corrected.
thank you. after doing that it did identify the problem areas. i did some changes but i am still getting an error and i canot see where the issue is. i am not seeing where the border is crossing over itself.
i think i got it figured out. after i did a path difference i did a path break apart and the holes from the path difference filled back up again so i though i did something wrong with that function, but when it filled in the holes, the parts that were cut out from the difference were hiding under the original and i did not see them because when ever i moved the object the hidden pieces moved with them. i guess i didn't move the part after i did the break apart. i am still learning this program. i appreciate your help in this matter.

Feel free to share the file. We can take a look.
