I am quite new to Inkscape and this is my first time on the Inkscape forum, I hope that I write in the right "forum tab". I am currently having some issues with the pen tool and the form with nodes created from it. In the same workfile earlier I could see that the nodes always were in the corners (I would often "magnetize" corner nodes together of different objects). But now a few hours later (I have not restarted the project/workfile) the nodes are no longer in the corners, and it makes it much harder to magnetize the nodes together exactly in the corner.
Green object shows how the node is placed earlier
Grey object shows how the node is placed now (not in the corners)
I must have used a stroke earlier on another object and therefore the next one automatically got a stroke too. It didn't really look like a stroke cause it had the same color as the rest of the object and blended in very well so that might be why I got so confused by it. :)

Do anyone know why this happened?
Looks like you have a stroke of the fill color applied.
@Polygon, thank you so much for answering.
