Beginners' Questions Layer Problem

    I have two squares, red and blue. Red is on top of blue but red doesn't cover it. Both objects are at 100% opacity. Is this a problem with the latest update or what?

    Transparency (if that is the issue) can be set on the fill/stroke, gradient, object, group, layer... I'd check controls for each.
