Hi! I am working in some maps with Inkscape 1.1 on my Macbook. The notebooks screen is insufficient so I have attached an old monitor, I like to work with it specially because 3:4 format.
So I setup Inkscape to floating panels, because the default way will left only half of screen to work, and won't have any use for the second screen. With floating panels, I tried to work with the main window in a screen and the panels in the other one. But after drag all panels to the second screen, at the moment I click on the main window, they are all auto dragged back over the window, back to one screen only - that's disappointing.
Also the panels have an expansive layout, with large borders and large boxes that occupies a lot of precious space...
So my question is: how to keep panels away from main window? If not possible, how to "compress" those panels?
