Hi, I recently started using Inkscape / Inkstitch.

When I create an embroidery of composite objects, I add the command "Trim thread after this object".
In the simulation this works just fine, but when I create the embroidery file the thread is not trimmed.
I export to * .vp3 format and use this on a Husquerna Viking Diamond machine.
Have tested both with previous and latest version of Inkstitch.
Does anyone know if this is a bug in inkstitch or if I am doing something wrong?

I don't use Inkstitch, but found this info.

Thanks, the machine will cope with * .pes format so I'll do a test for that 😀

I posted on my issue on Github, but I am not use to using it, and have no idea how to follow up.  I wanted to leave this trail of information in hopes it helps solve issues by non computer people like me.

    Window Version BTW--

    1.  I followed the Video Instructions.

On the last part of the video it has you test with a t with a shape :  Object to Path - Ext -Inkst - Params

    1.  I installed as the video indicated. -- User Extensions.  (photo's were included) - Issue of it not working. -- GRR

    2. I went with the 2nd option and copied the files direct to the InkStitch Extensions.  *Note I said copied  -- Got the error message 833.

    3.  Deleted the files out of User Extension.  Got Exception Attribute Error..

    4. Remembered I had downloaded the file on my desktop and opened the file before watching the video.  Deleted all the files.

    PRESTO - It works.
