I recently had a problem with my machine which required a reinstall the system asked if I wanted it to uninstall the original version which I said I wanted it to do but the uninstall failed - Now the new version will not install and the old version is not recognised either - what can I do about properly uninstalling the original inkscape and reinstalling the current version
I would delete the Inkscape folder in the Programs directory, and delete the Inkscape folder in the C:\\users\username\AppData\roaming directory. Then try re-installing the original version.
