I have Inkscape 1.3.2 on my Mac Os Sonoma 14.5. I started learning Inkscape in January this year and had about 20 files saved that I would always see in Recent Files when I opened Inkscape. I had not been on it for about 2 weeks then last week when I opened it, only 2 of my projects appeared in Recent Files. I hope someone can help me find where they are so I don't have to start over!
macOS will help to find any ".svg" file on your Mac for sure. Could be you moved them to another folder - that will break the "recent" path to your file location.
