Hi all. I created a logo in Canva but then decided I want an SVG version for the flexibility of scaling. However when I installed one of the fonts I need, Knewave, it looks different in Inkscape than it does in Canva (and Word and fonts.google.com for that matter). The letters appear less heavy in Inkscape and are also leaning over more. It's really obvious when you cycle through the files I've attached. What could cause this and how can I fix it?
I can't answer as to why this might be happening....except maybe for lame guess. In the screenshot you showed, did you type the text directly in Inkscape? Or possibly did you paste it in? If you pasted, try typing directly.
But if you can't make it work properly, I can suggest a way to fix it.
Select it with the Selection tool. Then click on it a 2nd time, to change the arrows. Then grab the middle top arrow, and drag very slightly to the left.

I compared the font in Inkscape with LibreOffice and the Google Fonts page. Looks ok here.
Please post your Inkscape version and system info.
