Hi, I need to divide a circle with dots around the circle. I.e divide equally by 162 dots How I do that? A video could help too!
Hi. There are several possible ways to do this.
See this great link
https://inkscape.org/forums/questions/place-specific-number-of-objects-on-path/
Also, for extra information, do a search for radial tiled clones. There are several web pages on this subject and videos.
And 360/162 is 2.22222 That number may come in handy when using tiled clones.

And, if you want to see how to divide a circle into x number of equal parts, see
