I am trying to have stickers created of one of my designs. The issue is that the build file size is 1" and I need the stickers to be 2.5". At the current size, they will not be able to expand the image without loosing too much detail.
When you say "build file" you mean the SVG file? Or did you give them a raster file?
If you have sent them an SVG image, they (or you) will be able to scale it to any size without losing any detail. But if you have sent them a raster image, you might as well scale the vector image to the right size, and export that, so you give them the right size to begin with.
You don't need to change anything, just use a different feature. Instead of using File menu > Export PNG, use File menu > Save As. With Save As, you have tons or choices for file formats. The default is SVG.

Thank you brynn. Every time I export it is saved as a png. How do I perminently change that to export as svg?
