I have two objects in the attached svg and cannot seem to get them to snap along the edge. (Two copies of same object actually, one rotated 90 degrees.) I tried corner, midpoint, and other different snapping options a bit with no success. I created with 0.92.4 and updated to 0.92.5 today but no change.
I am new to inkscape, so am probably missing something obvious, maybe some limitation. I have read through the manuals and searched through the forums and have missed it if it's there.ย
I have run into this issue quite a bit. Any pointers on how to get around this, short of zooming to 1000% and eyeballing, are appreciated.

I found an answer to my question. I found a snapping behavior preference "only snap the node closest to the pointer" and that seems to solve it.ย
Good find...ย I forgot there are snapping adjustments in the preferences as well as in the Document Properties.
