I've used Inkscape a decent amount in recent months to the point where I should just be able to type in text. However, in the last few days, I've not been able to do that. No matter the font or font size I use, I get some funky output. Letters are all blobs or shapes. I simply cannot type in text.
I deleted Inkscape and reinstalled it to no avail. The screenshot attached is what I got when I typed in the letters A and B.
I don't know what to even call this problem to look for help in the manuals or forum search. "Funky output" doesn't get me far. Did I accidentally change a setting somewhere?
When you check the bottom left of your Inkscsape screen you´ll notice you have (or Inkscape) a fill and a super thick stroke applied to your font. Either delete these settings or go Inkscape Preferences->System and hit "Reset Preferences" and restart Inkscape. I guess this comes with an installed update of Inkscape.
