I'm trying to find some free versions of "wave" patterns (see attached files). I seem to remember Adobe Illustrator has something similar already built in, I think it's a set of brushes, but I can't find something similar in Inkscape. I was wondering if anyone has found a free set of downloadable vectors with these sort of repeatable patterns?

A web search for "svg patterns download" yields many results. Alternatively, it's not hard to build your own.

Hi Paddy, you designed some pattern fills from groups, using transparent shapes to set spacing (in fill and stroke panel, gap Y should suffice, perhaps).

To use as a brush, therobster only need the black filled path inside theses groups, imho (pattern along path LPE).

You're right, David. It's time to update my workflow. Patterns from groups is a habit from the old days when rectangular tiles were the only option.

ย But it's the right way to set the exact spacing you wish.
