I work on an imported pdf-file, saved as svg. I have the font in use and it is imported as font.
When I change something in the text, the font changes to something else. Another font and another size. I can correct it, but it does that everytime I edit the text. I edit the text in the right pane, not in the textblock. Also the color changes sometimes to black instead of the original color.
Please (if you can) share a copy of the pdf file, and:
Describe your OS (your computer's Operating System: Mac/Windows/Linux/etc. & version).
Describe if Inkscape was newly installed, or upgraded from an earlier version.
Describe the version of Inkscape and the installer you used (the file you downloaded from the web: .msi/.exe/.zip/appimage/other, PPA/Snap/Flatpak, dmg/other ).
Describe any special hardware being used, like tablet/stylus, external drives or multiple monitors.
Describe any helper/assistive programs or keyboard modifiers (macros, languages, etc.).
Inkscape: Inkscape 1.4 (e7c3feb100, 2024-10-09), Flathub version, because that's how you run programs on Fedora Silverblue/Bluefin. Installed a few month ago, problem was always there. Dutch version.
No special hardware, keyboard and mousepad from laptop. No other programs, macros.
Begin:
I delete the point (just to cause the error) in the right pane. Then the font changes:
While I didn't touch the text-properties in any way.
Hi,

It's quite annoying, can I prevent this?

What happens when you edit text directly in the textblock?
Then it doesn't happen, but I think you're supposed to edit it in the text pane? As "the advised way"?
