Beginners' Questions Error: doesn't open AI files

    I'm trying to open AI files on Inkscape but the program doesn't open and close.

    Anyone could help me, please?

    It might be the version of Inkscape, or the version of ai file...

    Import extensions that have been removed:

    • Adobe Illustrator 8.0 and below (UC) (*.ai) (Workaround: rename the file extension toย .eps. Newer versions can still be imported if they contain an embedded PDF.)
