I am currently in the process of re-creating a Gearbox-Selection-Sign from a Machine. So far so good, I'm making slow but steady progress.
Now I want to outline the Logo and I find is increasingly frustrating to do so. There are currently simply 2 ellipses and I want to delete the Lines intersecting them.
I'm used to SketchUp so my initial thought is to just grad the eraser and erase the line(s). In my head they should then be removed up until they "hit" another line. Except I get just some weired gibberish.

Vector illustration is based on path instructions. Simple paint principles do not necessarily apply.ย
