    Hello!

In the Inkscape installation directory there is demo file filters.svg showing the effect of different filters applied to the same set of objects. I'd like to apply filter "Combined lighting" to text in my drawing but when I use it the effect is very different from the one displayed in filters.svg. I went through the settings of the filter in the Filter Editor and made sure that they are the same in my file and the demo.

Could anybody help me to figure out what I'm doing wrong?

Filters are heavily size-dependent. Use a much larger font (do not resize, use a different font size, literally!). Then you can scale down.

    Thank you, good man! )

At first I thought that it is strange that something in a vector drawing program could so heavily depend on the size but then I realized that filters are not vector operations at all. Without you help this realization would come to me much-much later)

    Have a good day!
