Beginners' Questions Crashes while zooming

    Greetings all,

I have been using Inkscape for around ten years now and it has always been a satisfactory experience.  I have made hundreds of drawings, mostly aircraft training and cockpit drawings.

I am currently running version 1.2.2 on Windows 11, i7, 12th gen, 16 GB RAM, 128MB dedicated VRAM.

Just recently, I have been experiencing crashes on one particular document (it was created with an older version of inkscape) when zooming in.  Attached is the backtrace report.

I have found during my research that crashes while zooming in excessively have been an issue.  My other newer documents don't seem to have this problem.  I can zoom in way beyond my needs, but I need to zoom in closer on this particular document to work on it effectively.

On the troublesome document, I have found lots of errant flowed text objects that are infinitesimally small (by using Select All in All Layers).  Most can be removed manually, but some are hiding underneath objects and are difficult to detect.  I tried starting with a new document, and importing the old one to see if it would purge any errant objects (didn't help).  Maybe that has nothing to do with it, but it was worth a shot.

    Any thoughts would be appreciated!

If you can share the file, we can test it in the 1.3 dev version.
