I just upgraded from 0.92.5 to 1.2.2 and I seem to have lost the functionality of being able to copy+paste directly from the inkscape canvas into other programs. To define specifics in a simple example:
I am trying to copy and paste a circle (drawn with the circle tool) from the canvas in inkscape by drag-selecting the entire object, then hitting ctrl+c, then going over to microsoft paint and pressing ctrl+v to paste it. It doesn't work anymore. Is there a checkbox I need to click to re-enable this? I'm very specifically looking for copy/paste controls. I'm not trying to export the image as a bitmap, or gif or anything like that. I just need the copy paste functionality back. It would be kinda silly to have to go back to the much older version, but I'm ready to just to get this functionality back.
