Im sure there is a thread somewhere about this, but I couldn't find one. So I have a subscription to Photoshop and Adobe Stock. But I don't have AI. Some of the files that I get from stock though that are supposed to be transparent aren't in photoshop, as the vector layers don't show up. I got the free trial to AI as I have never used it before. I was able to export the file to psd and then see the layers in photoshop.
However, now that my trial is over I need to find another way to separate the vector layers, so I downloaded Inkscape but every time I try to import an AI file that I downloaded from adobe stock I get an error message. I downloaded the MSI file of the latest version of Inkscape.
I just want to separate the layers of the vector, so I can get rid of the text and add my own text in photoshop or get rid of the "transparent background" that's not transparent in photoshop... Grr
Just Affinity Designer was able to load the file - exported to SVG. This one loads in Inkscape here. I know that´s not the answer you´re looking for but .ai files are not made for compatibility reasons.
I will take the file down after you´re saying you downloaded it.

Seems the files are not properly uploaded. You might need to put them in a zip folder.

ugh adobe... I've tried conversion sites as well. It's frickin annoying...
Got it working so far?
I'd test with Illustrator & Inkscape, but the file is not present. Oh well.
