Are you printing directly from Inkscape? What happens if you save a PDF of your file and print that. Does that work?
There have been a few issues over the years with printing directly from Inkscape (search the forum for more information) but generally saving a PDF version seems to work reliably.

I have an svg file in Inkscape. When I select print the image does not appear in the printed copy. All I get is gray lines. What is the cause?
