Since I'm not sure if everyone knows each other, I thought I'd post a quick message, announcing 2 new moderators. I'm totally excited, because it was looking like I might be doing this on my own for a while. But suddenly we have a little team already!
flamingolady, aka Dee Brieske, and z3z have both volunteered to help with moderation. I'm sure they will be poking around and checking out the new things they will find.
I got the first and most important part of the instructions written, but I've run out of time for tonight, on the rest. But I'll finish up on that tomorrow.
Anyway, thanks to both of you for volunteering! With your help, the new forum will have a much stronger start, and build more quickly.
If you come across any moderation situation that you're not sure how to handle, and neither me or Martin are available, you can just leave that message alone, and he or I can see it whenever we get back online.
Hello, I'm not sure if I'm supposed to be posting this message here, but I made numerous attempts message Inkscape Staff about the request to join the Moderator team in the public chat rooms and I no one was replying to my messages. I made attempts to message the Staff by privately messaging them, however, this option was unavailable for some reason.
Perhaps, I have not met the qualifications met to join the team or you guys are busy. Whether this is the case or not, I am hoping making a post about this will get the attention of the Inkscape staff to review my application.
I was just about to contact you, Beta, after I saw your request to join the Moderation team, when I noticed that Martin has already approved you as a moderator. I guess he has already oriented you to everything? Or do you need an introduction?
