I want to create a linocut from parts of an image I have ungrouped and will spend to a CNC cutter. I need to include a border (or corner marks) that will appear in every part of the image, as this is the only way of registering each part of the image in the final lino print. Any suggestions?

There should be menu: Extensions>Render>Layout>Printing Marks.
Yes I found those, but the printing marks stay with the original image, they don't appear on the ungrouped elements of the image.
I believe Inklinea made this extension especially for that purpose: https://inkscape.org/~inklinea/★simple-registration
The printing marks are usually on their own layer, and can be shown/hidden as desired with any other object, group or layer.
