For me, a good font should have very readable characters, easily identifiable: if there are, for example, one or two letters in the font that don't meet these characteristics, I avoid using it...or I only use it in certain cases. If the font has uneven spacing between the letters or they are poorly drawn, I don't use it... except in special cases, like when a font is similar to graffiti.

Thank you both.😏 To use with Gimp, I have often downloaded "fancy" fonts because I like anything out of the ordinary, but now that I have discovered the infinite manipulations offered by Inkscape, I will sort through my downloaded fonts folder .
