Beyond the Basics Text Question - serrated edges

Greetings - this is my first post. The steps I have taken are as follows: I create a box, put the word on top, then go to 'path > difference' so the letters and the part of the box behind the letters are both transparent. I then go to 'fill & stroke', using 'stroke paint' for the outline color and 'stroke style' for the thickness on the line. I save it to PNG and upload to a Wix site (if someone could tell me how to upload an SVG to Wix that would be a bonus), When I view it on Wix, the edges look very serrated. Not sure if this helps, but it seems to be worse the smaller I make the image. I know that is counterintuitive, but that is what happens. Thank you in advance for any guidance. Best, DA

I would start with a template designed for screens, with the units=px and the scale=1.

Then I'd make the artwork the size it will be onscreen. (e.g. 300px x 400px.) Then I'd export as PNG with the px dimensions the same as in the workspace.
