As your pdf file is already organized in layers with the different sizes, I would simply open pdf file with inkscape and :
open Layers and object's panel (Ctrl+ Shift + L),
hide (click on eye icon) the layers you don't want to export (see first image : only XS layer and Annotations layer will be visible).
use Export panel (Ctrl+ Shift + E) :
select Single File then Pages tabs (red rectangles on screenshot)
select both pages (green circles)
choose pdf file (blue rectangle), and the right folder and name (green rectangle)
Press export button. Repeat for the other layers.
That said, if you only need the design and not the objects in the ANNOTATIONS layer, you can also select Batch Export then Layers Tab to batch export every size in one go.
I guess you'll have a more painstaking work, there.
First remove all clips that come along with pdf files. For each page, select all, right clic > release clip. Now you have dozens of black rectangles. Click on one, right clic > select same > Fill and Stroke and delete them all.
Check if there are no errors (ie : if you did delete some useful paths).
Now the thing is that for each sewing size pattern, the design is composed of many paths of variable size and the stroke's dashes style for each size isn't exactly the same for all bits : you can't use select same > stroke style.
The way I would do is :
create one layerfor each size, (Layers and Objects panel, + button top left) and begin by the XS size (XS paths seem to be atop the others)
with node tool select each bit and turn it's stroke to a bright red color, in order to see what's been selected (be sure to use always the same color).
once all bits are selected, click on one on canvas, do a right clic > Select Same > Stroke Color this selects all the red paths and right clic one one on canvas and do Move to Layer "XS". Once they are in their own layer, you can turn their stroke again to black.
How Separate A Sewing Pattern Sizes Easily?
This is a sewing pattern. You print It put on the fabric, cut and sew it.
There are different sizes on It like S, M, L, XL etc.
Inner lines are the smallest size as you expect.
I want to separate these sizes and put them into separate inkscape files.
Small on a pdf file, Large on a different pdf file.
So you can print only the size you want.
How can I do this easily?
We have to keep the measurements intact since It is a technical drawing.!
A problem is Some lines are crashing each other at some areas. Does Auto Trace work In this case?
Another problem is how can I select and move a size?
I shared a sample file. “Tracing And Separating”
I’m not fluent on Inkscape but I’m asking this “Beyond the Basics” forum because I think It is tricky.

Nice. Thank you very much.
What do we do If there is no layers in the pdf file?
I shared an example file like this.
