First time using the Tutorial the Fill & Stroke worked just fine. When started on my own could not get Objects or Texts to color or outline/fill. Went back to Tutorial and does not work. Basic text editing functions work. Basic drawn and shape functions work. Have removed and reinstalled Inkscape 1.2 thinking I must have changed a setting, unknowingly. I am working on MacBA w/ M1 chip; Big Sur 11.7.1. I use an external keyboard & mouse. I am new to Inkscape but have had some experience with other graphics programs.
Thank You! It seems to be working. I do not recall changing preferences so have no idea what I did to cause this. Hopefully I won't do it again. Now I need to learn to work with efficiently. Again, thank you for your help.
